At informal Icelandic horse competitions, you will often find the beer tolt event. Each rider gets a mug of beer and everybody starts tolting. When time is called, the rider with the most beer left in the mug wins the event. All competitors then go the middle of the arena and chug the remaining beer.
Here is a variation on that theme--the water bucket tolt with partners. I really don't think many horse breeds would handle this obstacle quite so nicely. Notice some of the loose Icelandics observing the event--just hoping that bucket has some treats in it. Here is the direct link in case the embedding does not work on your computer.

As a little girl, I always wanted a pony for Christmas. Santa never brought me a pony. So in my late 40s, I started taking horseback riding lessons. When I turned 50, I got my first horse, an Icelandic named Blessi (Veigar frá Búðardal). Little did I know how much fun life with an Icelandic was going to be. Blessi has a unique perspective on life. I hope you enjoy reading about it as much as I enjoy Blessi. And you will probably read about my cats from time to time.
